Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of “Service to All Mankind.”

Congratulations to our newly elected president Dr. Keena Brittingham as well as our newly elected officers.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® has been of Service to All Mankind for 114 years which began at Howard University led by Ethel Hedgeman Lyle. The vision of our Founders was to cultivate and encourage high scholastics and ethical standards, to promote friendships and unity among college women, and to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women to improve their social stature.

Pink Goes Red Day for Heart Health

Join Nu Psi Omega Chapter in Raising Awareness for Heart Health

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is proud to join the American Heart Association in the fight against heart disease in order to improve the health of all women. On this special day, Alpha Kappa Alpha women will take off our pink and wear red for the day to raise awareness of this deadly disease and promote life changes that will increase the longevity of the lives of women around the globe.
